Internships for High School Students in Dubai
The internships we offer are earned inside a programme, not applied for separately: 10 of the 25 students in The Young CEO are offered a paid one-month internship at a DIFC company, and the investing and cyber programmes each offer 5 to their top students. None of them is guaranteed, and here is exactly how each one is decided.
How an internship is earned here
There is no separate internship application, and nothing can be bought. The internships we offer are earned inside a programme: a student joins for the six weeks or the four Saturdays, does the work, and is selected at the end on how they performed.
That is deliberate. A teenager who wants to be taken seriously by a company needs something to show that company first, and the programme is where that work gets made. Each programme offers its own number of places, and none of them is guaranteed to anyone who registers.
The numbers differ by programme, and the selection is made differently in each. Here is exactly how each one works.
The Young CEO: 10 of 25 students
The flagship six-week programme runs on six Saturdays, 11:00 to 13:00, from 9 January to 13 February 2027 at Dubai AI Campus, Gate Avenue, DIFC. Each cohort takes 25 students, working in teams on a live business challenge from a DIFC company, with senior mentors from firms including Deloitte and Accenture.
At the end, 10 of the 25 students are offered a paid one-month internship at a DIFC company, selected on programme performance and on Demo Day, where teams present to the company owners and partners who set the challenge. The internship is not guaranteed, and it can be completed within six months of the programme ending. Tuition is AED 3,000.
The Young Investor: 5 internships in finance
The four-week investing programme runs on Saturdays 9, 16, 23 and 30 January 2027, 13:30 to 15:30, with Demo Day on Friday 5 February at Century Financial's office in Emaar Square. Teams manage a simulated AED 100,000 portfolio across stocks, real Dubai property listings and gold, and defend their strategy to senior leaders from the finance industry.
5 internships in finance are offered to the top students of the cohort. Not every student gets one. Tuition is AED 3,000.
The Young Cybersecurity Leader: 5 internships
The four-week cyber leadership programme runs on Saturdays 9, 16, 23 and 30 January 2027, 13:00 to 15:30, with the Final Day on Saturday 30 January. Teams of four to five students act as the leadership of a real organisation hit by a major breach, then present their response to a panel of industry practitioners acting as the board.
5 internships are offered to the top students, selected on their work and on the Final Day. Not every student gets one. Tuition is AED 3,000. Parents and school representatives are invited to the Final Day.
What "not guaranteed" means, honestly
It means just that: registering does not reserve an internship, and no family should plan around one. If an internship is the only reason to join, this is the wrong reason, because a cohort of 25 students with 10 places leaves 15 students without one.
What every student does leave with is the work itself: a completed client project for a real DIFC company, at least two documented customer interviews, a product built with AI, hands-on sales experience and a Demo Day presentation in the Young CEO; a portfolio they built and can explain in the investing programme; a board-style presentation to an executive panel in the cyber programme. Those are the things an internship, a university or a first employer actually asks about.
Where the internships are not
The December Camp, five mornings from 14 to 18 December 2026, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, AED 1,500, does not include an internship. It is a standalone week that ends with teams presenting to mentors and parents, and it is a sensible way to try the teaching before committing to a longer programme.
Klaster Academy is a KHDA-certified training centre (permit 1151351). Every programme runs in person at Dubai AI Campus, Gate Avenue, DIFC, for students aged 14 to 20. If you want to ask which programme would suit a particular teenager before registering, email hello@klaster.me or call +971 52 159 6049.
