Extracurricular Activities for Teens in Dubai

Four in-person programmes for teenagers in Dubai, all at Dubai AI Campus, Gate Avenue, DIFC: a five-day winter camp in December, and three Saturday programmes from January. Here are the days, times and prices in one place, and what a student actually walks away with.

One weekly slot, not a one-off workshop

Every programme we run is a series, not a taster session: one session a week, at the same venue, with the same mentors, working on the same project until it is finished and shown. That shape is why the work ends up being worth something to a teenager at the end of it.

All of it is in person at Dubai AI Campus, Gate Avenue, DIFC, for students aged 14 to 20. There is a winter camp in December, then three Saturday programmes from January. Klaster Academy is a KHDA-certified training centre (permit 1151351).

Every programme, with the day and the time

These are the current dates and prices. Each one registers on its own page, except the ones whose form sits on the home page.

  • The Young CEO: six Saturdays, 9 January to 13 February 2027, 11:00 to 13:00, AED 3,000. 25 students per cohort, plus a weekly 30-minute online mentor session per team on Monday evenings.
  • The Young Investor: four Saturdays, 9, 16, 23 and 30 January 2027, 13:30 to 15:30, plus Demo Day on Friday 5 February, AED 3,000.

What a university application can actually show

An activities list on an application asks for something a student did, over time, with a result. That is the part most weekend classes cannot supply, because the output is a certificate for attending.

Here the output is work. In The Young CEO, students leave with a completed client project for a real DIFC company, at least two documented customer interviews, a product built with AI, hands-on sales experience and a Demo Day presentation to company representatives and mentors, plus a portfolio that stands out on university and internship applications. The programme also gives a certificate of achievement that can be verified online.

In The Young Investor, the output is a simulated portfolio the student built and can explain, and a strategy defended in front of senior leaders from the finance industry. In The Young Cybersecurity Leader, it is a board-style presentation delivered to an executive panel, and a certificate of completion.

The weekly commitment

The heaviest of the four is The Young CEO, at around four hours a week: one two-hour in-person session, one 30-minute session with the group mentor, and up to 45 minutes staying in touch with the partner company. The investing and cyber programmes run on the Saturday session itself, with a short hands-on technical exercise between weeks two and three of the cyber programme (around two to three hours in total).

Students bring a laptop with a charger. Nothing needs to be installed before the first session.

How to choose between them

The choice is mostly about what the teenager already leans towards, not about ability. None of the programmes requires coding experience or a technical background, and selection for the programmes is on motivation rather than grades.

If the interest is business, customers and building something, The Young CEO is the closest fit. If it is markets and money, The Young Investor. If it is security and crisis decisions, The Young Cybersecurity Leader. And if the aim is simply to try the teaching before committing to a term, the December Camp is five mornings that stand on their own.

Practical details

Fees are paid in full, with no deposit or instalment plan. Tuition is non-refundable once paid; the one exception is a medical issue, where the place is held for the next cohort with a doctor's note.

No Emirates ID or UAE residency is needed to register, and every programme finishes with a presentation that parents can attend. To ask which one suits your teenager, email hello@klaster.me or call +971 52 159 6049.
