Entrepreneurship Programme for Teens in Dubai

Six Saturdays at the Dubai AI Campus, working on a live business challenge set by a DIFC company. Teams of teens aged 14 to 20 take it from problem to prototype to a Demo Day pitch, mentored by practitioners, with a paid internship on the table for the students who earn it.

What the six weeks look like

Each week is one two-hour masterclass at Dubai AI Campus, and the work continues between sessions. The six weeks follow a single thread: understand the company, understand the customer, then build and prove something.

  • Week 1, problem definition and as-is analysis: what the challenge really is, and how the company handles it today.
  • Week 2, solution development and market research: customers, competitors and what already exists.
  • Week 3, stakeholder review: the work is tested against the people it affects.
  • Week 4, MVP build: a functional prototype, hands-on with AI tools.
  • Week 5, results: validating the cost and revenue metrics behind the prototype.
  • Week 6, Demo Day: a live presentation to the company owners and partners who set the challenge.

A real company, a real problem

The challenge is not a case study written for a classroom. It comes from a DIFC company, and the people who set it are in the room on Demo Day. Teams have to scope it, talk to the market, build, sell, measure and present.

Groups are mentored weekly by practitioners, including senior partners from Deloitte and Accenture. The wider mentor network includes people from firms such as Bloomberg, Gartner, Cisco and Oracle.

The internship

10 of the 25 students in a cohort are offered a paid one-month internship at a DIFC company, selected on programme performance and Demo Day. It is not guaranteed, and it can be completed within six months.

Most families ask about this, so it is worth being plain: the internship is earned during the programme, not included with the seat.

What the student walks away with

The six weeks are designed to leave something behind that a family can point at, not just a certificate of attendance.

  • A completed client project for a real DIFC company.
  • At least two documented customer interviews.
  • A product built with AI.
  • Hands-on sales experience: outreach, client conversations, closing.
  • A Demo Day presentation to stakeholders: company representatives and mentors.
  • A portfolio that stands out on university and internship applications.

Who it suits, and what is not needed

The programme is for ages 14 to 20, and no coding experience is required. Selection is on motivation, not grades or technical skill.

You do not need an Emirates ID or UAE residency to join. What students do need is the willingness to work in a team for six weeks and to present in front of adults at the end of it.
